ANOTHER MEAT MARKET.
The cable advice published to-day to the effect that the Hungarian Government has assented to the admission of a restricted quantity of Argentine meat, and that colonial importers are pushing".'" the claims of the New Zealand article, is of considerable importance to sheepbreeders in this Dominion. It would be a splendid thing for New Zealand if a market for its" frozen mutton could be found on the Continent. Evidently, however* the Argentine growers have got l "a leg in." Even this will strengthen the position so far as the colonies are concerned, for if the South American meat is sent to Europe, the competition in the Mother Country will not be so keen.
