AMUSEMENTS.
THOMPSON-PAYNE PICTURES.
Seating accommodation was at a premium in the Foresters' Hall last right, when the usual Monday night change ot pictures was presented. Patrons were treated to a magnificent pioture of "London, 1910," This picture takes fully au hour to exhibit, and embracts all the places o£ interest in ths cisy Known aa the hub of the earth. Spectators are shown the famous Tower Bridge, London Bridge, Whitehall, with the Life Guards doing sentry duty, Trafalgar Square, Leicester Square, Victoria Embankment, Billingsgate, Parliament Houses, and all other famous buildings, and a good view is obtained of the various streets and the immense crowds. The dramatic section of the programme is very strong and was well received, especally "A Heaven Guided Heroine." "Our Silent Paths" is a pathetic mining story, and shows how a girl has to decide between love and justice. The whole series is of real tirst-class merit and should draw further crowded houses.
