OBITUARY.
MR JOHN MACE. Another old identity of Masterton, in the person of Mr John Mace, passed away at his residence in Cornwall street yesterday. The deceased, who was about seventy years of age, had been following farming operations in the Wairarapa ior thirty or forty years, but had lived in retirement for some time. Jle had been suffering for a considerable period with an internal complaint, wnich culminated in his deatn. Deceased, who was a native of Warwickshire, waa highly respected by all who knew him. His last appearance in town was some weeks ago wnen, n'i ipiie of hia weak condition, he came out to re-
cord his vole for lhe drait.age loan. His funeral wiii iuke place 10-mor-row.
