LANG BEATEN IN-SIX ROUNDS.

Lang was unabla to evade Kaufman's straight "left's" to the lace, and often held on to avoid further punishment. He was very tired ut the end of the fifth and sixth rounds from ?uccessive lefts arid rights on the face and head.

I Lang missed numerous leads, and when he landed his blows they Jacked steam.

In the fourth routi<l Kaufman cut a nasty gash in Lang's forehead, and then landed a hard right on his jaw. distressing the Australian, who clinched and held. In the fifth and sixth rounds, Kauiman severly punished Lang, again staggering him with a right to the head, and forcing him to clinch. There Was much wrestling throughout the fißht, which was witnessed by 10,000 spectators. Altogether, the tight demonstrated that neither Kaufman or Lang are worthy to oppose Johnson.
