Harry Bick, a young man employed at Moriarty's store, wbb assisting in loading Bome iron by means of the crane, when the wood broke and released a five cwt. crate of iron from the hooks. The iron.in descending, caught Bick on the leg, fracturing it above the ankle. Dr. Johnston was soon in attendance, and the injured man was later conveyed to the South Wairarapa Hospital.
