CARTERTOW. The monthly meeting of the Wairar'apa South Cour.fcy Council was held on Saturday, Councillor W. Perry presiding. The treasurer reported a crecit baiance of £829 14b. 3d. Accounts amounting to£sis Os 7d were passed for payment, it was rt- '. ported by the Ranger that 37 head ct cattle had been impounded <!urirg the month. The action of Cr. Mas* n in authorising Mr R.
