stated that the disease in pigs was directly attributable to their being fed with milk or whey from tuberculosis cows. The disease, he said, was more pronounced in pigs than in cattle. Pasteurisation was essential of the disease was to be stamped out. He instanced a case in.:which three lots of pigs had come ander his notice. In one lot sixty per cent, were suffering from tuberculosis, in another fifty and in the third one hundred per cent. The breeder had resorted to pasteurisation, with the result that, of he next lot sent in only 3 per cent, were affected.
