JOSHUA JONES.
The case of Mr Joshua 'Jones has been for so long before the public of New Zealand that people are beginning to feel tired of both the man and the case. Parliament has been so often petitioned by Mr Jo:hvn Jones that one is tempted to tiinic that ho is like the brook—he is going 011 for ever. There is a limit to the endurance of even Parliamentarians, and the waste paper basket, whieh is so familiar to the editor, should be called into requisition at times by the Petitions Committee of the House. What between "Mokau" Jones and Meikle, and a few hundred other people with grievances, the life of a Parliamentarian must be almost unendurable.
