TINUI NOTES.
From Our Own Correspondent.
Wednesday,
A demonstration of spraying was given here to-day by Mr F. E, Nottage, Government Orchard Instructor, in an orchard kindly lent for the occasion by Mr W. Armour. There was a fair attendance present, who appeared to be keenly interested. A alight mishap happened to the coach to-day while coming through the Mangapakeha, by the breaking of a spring. The stables in Tinui were rung up and a brake was soon despatched to meet the coach, with the result that the coach was only one hour late.
A painful accident happened to Constable 'Jollerton the other day while'u riding on the side of a hill. His horse slipped down, and, while trying to recover, again slipped, with the result that Constable Collerton was struck on the face with the horse's foot, and received a severe bruise.
