STOJK MARKET.
Messrs Dalgety and Co , Ltd, held a sale of dairy stock at Wooclville on Wednesday, on account of Mr W. Remnanr. There was a large and representative attendance of buyers and bidding was keen throughout The cows were a fi .0 lot of grade Holstein and Jersey Shorthuri', ;ind' were a credit to the owner, in was evidence by the high prices realised, , 33 Holsteins bringing £6 15s to £23 ) 15s, making an average of £9 lis, and 22 Shorthorn-Jersey cross, from £6 to £ll 10s, avaraging £9. 18month Holstein heifers £5 10s to £7; yearling Holstein bulls, £3 to £l2 10s; shorn hoggets, 10s to 13s; sows with litters, £2 10s to £3 12s 6d; slips, 12s 3d; boars, £1 Is; j boy's pony, £5 10s.
