WAIRARAPA HUNT.
"MEET" AT OPAKT.
A "riin" with the Wairarapa hounds took place on the Opaki yesterday; the drag, being laid by Messrs G. F.Vallance on, G ret, and Tas. Smith on Te. Otuatu, through the properties of Messrs Pierce Cotter, C. Ho'mwood, W. H. Buick, and "Hawkhurst." A check was made at the homestead of Mr R. Buick, who ! acted as deputy-master, where afternoon tea was. dispensed.; Amongst the followers of the hounds we,re Messrs Sam Bunny, huntsman, on Divorce; R; Buick, deputy-master, on Kiwi; F. B. Vallance, on Daisy Bell; K. Baird, on Hapua; C.-J. Bennett, on Gleam o' Dawn; T. Timms, on Traylock; H. Skeet, on tßlue Bell; and E. Warrington, on Tommy. The weather was gloriously fine, and the run, which is the last of the Beason, was enjoyed by all.
