HOCKEY.
ANNUAL FIVE-ASIDE TOURNAMENT.
The annual fi 'e-aside tournament of the vvairirapa Hockey Association will be held at Lansdowne to-mor-row, conrnmencing at 2 p.m. Grounds are allotted as follows Senior, No 1; junior, No. 2 and 3; third grade, No. 4. In the senior games there will be two spells of four minutes each, and in the junior and third grade five minutes each.
Players are particularly requested io note that games Will bs played strictly in the order in which they ara drawn, and the first game will commence at 2 o'clock sharp. Any team not ready to commence in its turn will lose its match by default. Clubs are lequested to furnish their teams with white balls.
In the event of the tourney being postponed, notices will be posted at Rankin's, about 12 o'clock. Referees will be Messrs Mcintosh, Rosson, O'Meara, Griffiths, Nicol, Scrimgeour, Old?, and A. J Fisher. Any other gentlemen who would be willing to act in the capacity of referee are requested to notify the secretary. The drawings are— SENIOR. Post and Telegraph B. v, Knox A. Carterton A v.
