A PROGRESSIVE MOVE.
BY THE FARMERS' MEAT COMPANY. At the directors meeting of the Wellington Farmers' Meat Company on Wednesday last a resolution was passed authorising the Engineer to prepare plans and order machinery | for a skin curing plant, at a total estimated cost of £I2OO, The directors had not intended taking up this new scheme, but the capital of the company having now reached £40,500, the majority of the directors considered they were quite justified in embarking in the new enterprise, which from the expert information they have received from various ■ parts of the Dominion should, hi of considerable financial value to the Company. .
