The following is the Rev. D. L\ Bates" summary and weather forecast:—
The winds have changed to northerly and the weather has become milder, though a hard fropt was experienced last night in the southernmost districts, Showers tell in many other parts on Wednesday night and this morning the barometer has fallen everywhere slowly. The nresent indications arc for a falling barometer <. very wrier", and
northerly winds increasing strnr.gr to gale. Hazy and cloudy weather will probably precede rains in most parts nf the country within (he next fortyeight hours.
