THOMPSON-PAYNE PIQTURES, A more intertsting series of pictures could not be concerned than those produced at the Foresters' Ha!l last nightto an overflowing audience. 'lhe various fish and aquatic animals were clearly shown in their tanks in the "Brighton Aquarium,"' Here one is shown the deadly octupus and the manner in which it envelops its prey. Porpoises, aeah, tortoises, and various kinds of crabs and other crusteaceteans are "The Microbe of Recurrent Fever" is depicted, magnified several thousands of times by the microscope. A morkeyis inoculated and drops of blood are examined at various stages of the disease, and it is wonderful to watch the growth and effect of this death dealing germ upon the corpuscles of the blood. "The Corsican Bandits" gives plenty of scope for fine dramatic situations. A beautiful story is un folded in Edison's latest production "Laddie," "The Adventures of Golden Isle" is an Indian story that affords plenty nf excitement. The comic pictures are above the average in humour, and kept the audience laughing heartily. TOWN HALL PICTURES. The "Living New Zealand" pictures, which were so well received in the Mnsterton Town Hall on Tuesday and Wednesday night?, will be repeated to-night with a partial change of programme. Those who have not witnessed this unique collection of New Zealand views, thrown upon the screen in animated form, should not miss this opportun? ity. A matinee, for the special benefit of school children, will be given to-morrow afternoon, and evening.
