Received August 2, 10.30 p.m. NEW YORK, August 2 .... The racial riots in Anderson County, Texas havs been ot a rriore serious nature than was at first anticipated..Several whites have been arrested in connection with the, rioting. The authorities allege th? attacks on the blacks were wholly unjustified. Twenty innocent negroes were killed, many of whom were mere boys.
