SOUTH WAIRARAPA POULTRY ASSOCIATION.
FOUR'IH ANNUAL SHOW. The fourth annual Exhibition under the auspices of the South Wairarapa Poultry, Pigeon and Cage Bird Association opens this afternoon, in the Agricultural Hall at Carterton. Ihe Society will have a line exhibition of poultry, entries having come in in large numbers. About 400 birds will be penned, of which 250 are poultry, and the remainder pigeons and cage birds. Working Homerß are the principal entries in pigeons, and competition in some of the classes will be very keen. Among the poultry classes. Leghorns Wyandottes, and Orpingtons are the chiefly contested in addition to the utiilty classes. The birds coming forward are considered to be some of the finest in the North Island, and among those showing are:—Messrs K J. Chapman, C. R. P. Armstrong, E. B. Eagle, P. C. Anderson, H. Meyrick, H.
