Wade, in a speech at Chatswood, outlined the Government policy. The principal features are: — Authjrity for tbe resumption of land totalling 170,000 acre:: will be ready to be placed before Parliament, and an additional quarter of a million acres will be ready shortly. The railway system to be improved by duplication and crosscountry lines. It ia proposed to float a special loan o: two million pounds locally for the purpose of internal development. •
