(Own Correspo f.-' i Monday. Mr and Mrs H. Miller returned norm this afternoon from their noneynrnn tour. A children's service ia announced for Parkvale for Sunday afternoon next, which will be the first of its kind heid there. It will be conducted by the Rev. R. Young. There was another good congregation at the service of the Church to (led in the Fire Brigade Hal! last overling, Mr Coleman Phillips conducting the meeting. The religious service in praise of God alone was earnes-Uy rendered,- and Mr Phillips then f>ave a very interesting address on the nearer planets and the canal system of Mars. The skating season is to open in Carter'en on Wednesday evening next. \ _____
