DEATH OF AN INFANT

By Telegraph —Press Association. WANUANUI, May 27. An inquest concerning the death of a newly-born Maori infant revealed [some shocking neglect. The medical opinion was that the child had lived after birth and died of inanition. The evidence of principals proved that the child had been totally uncared for. It was buried secretly hy the father, but the body was exhumed by the police yesterday. Haroracna has been arrested.
