Own Correspondent, Friday. m splendil view was obtained of the eclipse of the moon on Tuesday eveninp; there was alsn a fair view of the Hi met owing to the temporary darknes3. We are faring pretty well for amusements in the way of dancing. There 13 the weekly class, a social every month, one of which was successfully held last ThutsJay, and a meating of ladies was held on Tuesday to arrange for a plain and fancy dress ball. The school closes to-day for t&e midwinter vocation. Mr J. Koigard of Kopuarurga North, who has been dairying fnr about 20 years, has taken up a Go vernment leasehold near Te Awß- - Having sold his property hire, jMr Roigard and family will 1 ave earty next month for their new home.
