UPPER PLAIN RAINFALL.

Rain fell on twelve days in April; maximum iall in 24 hours. 52 points, registered on the 11th.. Minimum, 1 point on 2nd and 26th; total for month 1.55 inches. Average for the previous six years, 2.90 inches. Total for four months, 10.82 inches; average for corresponding period during - previous six years, 12.90 inches. Mr Boddington also, supplies the following table for four months, compnring the rainfall at the Upper Plain and Lansdowne:— Registered by Mr J. B. Henry :- Upper Plain. Lansdowne! Groves has -kindly forwarded the following return ot the raintall at Bush Grove for April : Total rainfall for the month, 1.15 points; maximum fall, .48 points on the 10th; days with rain, 11: maximum tempenrt ure > 74 on 7th; minimum temperature. 31 on 28th; rainfall for April, 1909, 1.50 points. REPORT i?ROM DITTON. Mr S. Mawley, of Dittcn. reports: —The rainfall tor April amounted to 2,05 inches; maximum fall in 24 hours being .73 on the -10 th. The rainfall for February, March and Apilllsst amounted to 6.12 inches; tbe29 years' average for these three months is 11.28. The amount, how- • ever, that fell in January last was 4.72, which is 1.41 over the average for that month.
