NATIONAL DAIRY SHOW AND CONVENTION.
Much interest is attached to the forthcoming display of milking machines in operation at the National Dairy Show. The Ridd Milking Machine, Lawrence Kennedy, Alpha Laval, Dominion and Austral, will be housed in a special building provided by the A. and P. Association adjacent to the Show buildings, and relays .of cows will be milked at regular hours throughout the Show. The accommodation provides new features, especially for those interested in the methods ot mechanical milking in a way never attempted before in the Dominion. 'lhe display by the exhibitors is not on competition lines, and is essentially a demonstration of the utility of the mechanical milking which is gaining favour wherever tried. In addition to the above a large number of various makes of machines will be shown in the National Dairy Machinery Hall. The National Dairy Show Executive are men of considerable experience in the dairy world, and it is their aim to invoke the co-operation of dairy machinery exhibitors in making instructive displays, and through the National Dairy Association Conference to furnish instructive informtion on the dairy farm progress and economies for the man on the soil. In this way the National Dairy Show has come to be recognised far and near as the "Mecca" for dairymen, and an inducement for thousands to visit the annual Dairy Exibition.
