Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on their Eketahuna sale held yesterday:—There was a heavy yarding of both sheep and cattle, considerably more coming forward than were advertised. With the exception of good quality ewes and lamb 3 we have to report a dragging sale under the hammer. Quotations: Sheep: Good shorn lambs 7s 6d to 8s Id, cull lambs 4s to 5s lid, ewes in tood condition's 7d to 10s 6d, wethers 12s 4d to 13s 9d, cull ewes 3s 6d to 7s Id. Cattle: Empty forward cows-£1 12s to £4, heifers in calf £3 15s, aged cows 255, two 1 and 2yr steers £4 7s 6d, weaners to 38s 6d.
HORSE SALE. Messrs Dalgety and Co. report Having held their horse s»le on Saturday last, at their Waipoua yards, when they offered a large number of all classes of horses. There was a large attendance and bidding throughout was fair. For horses showing a anything like quality there was good competition. Ihey quote:—Hacks, £4 103, £6 103, £lO 103, up t0,£14; draught mares and geldings, £4 10s, £ls, £ll ss, £l3, £ls, £22 to £25 103.
