AUSTRALIAN NAVAL DRAFT.
PROCEEDING TO PORTSMOUTH
GENEROUS PASSENGERS.

The Australian naval draft has arrived, and is proceeding to Fortsmouth to commence work in the torpedo, gunnery, and signalling classes immediately. Engineer-Lieutenants Robertson and Barnes have joined the oil fuel "ourse of the Navy. The passengers aboard the R.M.S. OLrsnto showed their interest in the Australian Naval lads by subscribing £132 for the purchase of two shields for the annual gunnery and torpedo competitions under service conditions.
