STRUCK BY A HURRICANE.
By Telegraph— Press Association. GISBORNE, April 21. The sco"? Magic, from Greyraout.h, had a perilous experience. She ran into a north-west eale at Cnpe Pali ser, and had the top of her foremast carried away. The Magic was blown 120 miles out to sea by the hurricane, which lasted three days. A tremendously heavy sea was running, and the deck cargo had to be jettisoned to lighten the vessel. The deck was continually awash. The crew had a very trying experience.
