(Own Correspondent). Monday. WEDDING. A pretty wedding, in which a good ueal of local interest waa taken, was. celebrated at St. Peters' Church this morning, when Mr Reinhold Zarth, eldest son of Mr R. Zarth, of Hobart, was united in matrimony to Elsie H. A, Bailey, eldest daughter of Mr Thos. Bailey, of Pahiatua. The bride was given away by her father and she was charmingly attired in a French drape model of chiffon taffetas, with silk trimmings and silver tussles, and wore the orthodox veil and orange blossoms, carrying a lovely shower bouquet. The chief bridesmaid, Miss A. Larsen, wore a semi-Empire frock of pale green silk, with cream trimmings and a black picture hat. The other bridesemaids were Benita Bailey (sister of the bride), and Stella Wallis, who were dressed in pale pink silk with hats to match. Miss Larsen carried a beautiful shower bouquet, and the two little girls each carried a basket of flowers. Mr C. Mills was best man, and Percy Oughton was a page boy. The bridegroom'B present to the bride was a gold spear brooch set with pearls and emeralds, ana, to, the cnief bridesmaid, a gold brooch set with rubies and opals. The youthful bridesmaids each received charm pins from the bridegroom, who also presented the page boy with a pin set with sapphires and pearls. After the ceremony, which was performed by the Kev. C. H. Isaacson, a reception was held, Mrs Bailey receiving her guests in a semi-Em-pire frock of brown silk trimmed with cream trimmings. Mr and Mrs Zarth left by the afternoon train for the North, where the honeymoon will be spent, the bride's travelling dress being a costume of pale pink cloth with black trimmings, and black hat to matcK
