(Own Correct ondent.) Monday. At the annual meeting of the Daler field Football Club, Mr J. Hodder presiding, the report and balance sheet, showing a credit of £4 18s lOd, was adopted. Officers elected were:- Patron, Mr A. Gallon senr., President, Mr J. Hodder; Vice-Pres-idents, Messrs J. August. .T. : . Udy, F. Playle, W. Gallon C. Fairbrother., M. T. West, J. Standen,. N. Nielsen, R. G. Welch, G, Waterson senr., W. G. Waterson, w. Saywell, W. Knowles, W. Ordisb, W. Ticehurst, and R. Bassett; captain, Mr W. A. Hart; vice-captain, Mr A. Welch; secretary and treasurer, Mr W. A. Hart; Management and Match Committee, Messrs H. Knowles, W, G. Waterson and the captain; delegates to the iW.R.U., Messrs A. Playle and W. A. Hart; auditor, Mr A. O. Abbott. The subscription was fix-d at 4s for juniors and 2s 6d for thirds, same to be paid before any player can take part in championship matches. Messrs D. Smith, F. Waterson, T. Saunders, S. Gaskin, H. Crawley, and C. Henson were elected new members. The season is to be opened on \pril 9th, and a junior and third class team is to be entered for the championship. The matter of arranging for drags, and a ground to play upon, was left in the hands of the secretary. It was decided to carry on the winter dances, the first of which is to be held on April 6th, the committee to carry out same being Messrs C. Gallon, .A. .Playle, G. Nielson, L. Taylor, and C. August. upon. The work of .excavating for the foundation of a new brick shop to be erected in High Street lor Mr H. Callister has been commenced Mr G. W. Pittendreigh, Methodist Home Missionary, rondurte 1 bis farewell service at Dalefield yesterday afternoon. , The church services here ye terday were in 'keeping with the faster festival, St. Mark's Church being tastefully decorated. St. Andrew's Presbyterian Sunday School held their anniversary services yesterday, when the distribution of piizes took place.
