WAIRARAPA HUNT CLUB.

ANNUAL REPORT.

A HIGHLY SUCCESSFUL YEAR

The following is the annual report of Mr W. H. Buick (Master) to be presented at the annual meeting of members on Wednesday next:— "I am pleased to be able to congratulate members on the most successful season the Club has experienced since its inception. The balance sheet, issued with this report, shows a very satisfactory state of affairs. Favoured with splendid weather, the i Steeplechase hunting gives us a sur- ' plus of £IOO 5s Bd, which must be j considered very satisfactory. We start this season with a credit bal|anceof£H7 3s sd. This amount would have been much larger were it j not for the fact that several subscriptions are outstanding. It is due to Mr Rupert Morrison to record thu appreciation of members for bis strenuous efforts on our behalf during the past season, and the amount received in subscriptions and donations is in on small measure due to him. Applications for the position of Huntsman have been called, and. these will be considered at the annual meeting. I beg to call a general meeting for Wednesday, 23rd March, 1910, at 3 p.m., at the Club Hotel, | Masterton, wnen the balance sheet j will be considered, and election of officers for ensuing year."
