MILITARY SPORTS. Easter Monday wil! witness the revival ot miliary sports in Masterton. For some time past the Masterton Mounted Rifles have been working assiduously to arrange a first-class programme of events, that will be interesting alike to all competitors, and in, this they have been successful, judging by the manner in which the entries are coming in. Crack riders from various parts of the district have signified their intention of being present, and the public of Masterton will have an opportunity of witnessing horsemanship of the very first order. The Showgrounds, where the sports will be held, offers every facility for an event of this kind, and a strong committee have arrangements well in hand regarding the course, hurdles, etc. Given fine weather there should be a large attendance of the public.
