AMUSEMENTS.
THOMPSON-PAYNE PICTURES.
The installment ot a new dynamo is being proceeded with, and the management expect to have the more powerful light in full swing on Thursday next. Although to the l»y mind the pictures could not be improved upon, there should be a marked difference with the new apparatus, as the new dynamo is one of the most powerful ever introduced for the purpose of cinematographic projection in the Dominion. The programme at present being shown is an excellent one. "Muggins, V.C ," again called forth loud applause last n'ght. The fine Indian picture "The Mendtd Lute" also came in for its full share of appreciation. The whole programme is well worth seeing. Tomorrow evening a complete change will be produced.
