(From Our Resident Reporter). Saturday. On Tuesday next, 15th inst, the Ballance Dairy Company will pay out to its suppliers for February's milk supply about £5,300. Mr George Halliday, who won the Championship at the Jubilee meeting at Trentham, just concluded, is a son of Mr Halliday, of Makairo. Mr Govenlock, of Woodville, who it will be remembered did so well at at the recent Dannevirke Rifle Meeting, was fifth on the list for the coveted Champion Belt. The Woodville Athlete Association will hold sports on the Woodville Recreation Ground on April 6th. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., will offer a very large number of sheep of aM ages, at their stock sale on Tuesday next. Considerable enthusiasm has been shown in cricket matters by the. Weber Cricket Club, and the Club is evidently well supported, as far as funds are concerned, for it has decided to vote a sum of £6 to the Domnan Board. There is also talk of a football club being formed at Weber during the coming winter.
