There has been an amazing devei opmeni in the Vienna poisoning trial, in which Lieutenant Hofrichter stands accused of coisoning a number of officers. The discovery has now, it is alleged, been made that Hofrichter, under the assumed name ot Dr Haller, endeavoured to drug an innocent girl. A letter addressed to "Haller" w:is opened at the dead-letter office, and fuund to contain poison.
