THE KILLING OF A SAHIB. REGRETTED UPON REFLECTION. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph Copyright. Received March 10. 9 a.m. CALCUTTA, March 9. Giving evidence in the High Court at Bombay, Kanare, who with six others Brahmins, all belonging to a secret society, is being tried for the murder, in December last, of Mr A. Jackson, Collector at Nasik, said he thought the killing of sahibs would give the people justice. He now regretted the killing of Mr Jackson, a goo I man, without cause.
