AMUSEMENTS.
THOMPSON-PAYNE PICTURES. There was a crowded house to witness the change of programme at the Foresters' Hall, last night, and a more interesting collection of films have not been snown in Masterton. The first subject was an industrial j picture entitled "Millstone Quarrying," followed by a clever comedy " two Burglars." "The Little Princes of the Tower" i« a pictorial reproduction of that famous historical incident when young King Edward and his brother were murdered at the instigation of Richard, Duke cf Gloucester. "His Lost Love" is a gem of cinematographic art. "The Fly Pest" is a microscopic view of the common house fly, engaged in his labour of spreading contagion. This picture is of educational value, fully illustrating to the most ordinary intelligence the dangers caused by the most common pest of every day life. "Napoleon and Princess Hatzfeld" is a representatioa of an authentic incident in Bounaparte's career. The pictures mentioned are only a few of the excellent subjects that make up a Kiagnificeot series.
