OUTBREAK OF FIRE.
AT CLUB HOTEL PREMISES. About 1.45 a.m., this morning the firehell rang out an alarm of fire, which proved to be on the Club Hotel premises. The fire, which started in a couch in the old sitting room in the wooden portion of the building aoin spread to the window curtains, and made a considerable flare. Constable Dunn, who wa9 quickly on the scene of the outbreak, together with some of the boarders at the establishment, got the fire under way with the aid ot a hose kept in case of outbreaks, and by the time the brigade arrived the fire was practically subdued. If the fire had got anything of a hold it would have occasioned considerable trouble in getting it out as the building was very old. There were no in urances on the furniture.
