TOUR OF AUSTRALIANS. MATCH WITH OTAGO. AN EASY WIN. BY TEN WICKETS. By Telegraph—Press Association. DUNEDIN, March 8. The cricket match Australia v. Otago was resumed on the Carisbrook Ground this afternoon, and resulted in a win for the visitors by ten wickets. Australia, requiring 98 to win, sent Bardsley and Mayne to the wickets, annd these two batsmen after an hour and a half play had acquired the number necessary to secure the victory. The scores are: — OTAGO. First Innings 166 Second innings . 120 AUSTRALIA. First innings 189 Second Innings. Bardsley, not out 56 Mayne, not out , 40 Extras 3 Total for no wickets 99

The members of the Masterton Cricket Club are requested to attend at the nets on the Park this afternoon, mr the purpose of practice. The Marlborough Cricket Association are sending a representative team to play Wairarapa on Good Friday and Easter Saturday, March 25th and 26th. Captains of clubs are requested to send to Mr S. R. Edwards, secretary of the Wairarapa Cricket Association, the names of members available to play if selected. The unfinished match between Masterton and Carlton will be resumed on the Park Oval on Saturday, Masterton require 305 runs to win.
