Mr C. C. Graham, S.M., arrived in Masterton from Wellington on Saturday evening.

Mr G. Allen, of "Tipua," Taratahi, the well-known Romney breeder, will judge the Romney sheep class at the Cambridge A. and P. Show, to be held on Thursday and Friday next. Mr Allen left for Cambridge on Saturday last.

Mr D. Hebentun, of Masterton, won the first prize in the competition for new business held by the Mutual Life and Citizens' Association Co., Ltd., among general agents in Australia, Tasmania and New Zealand, for the latter end of 1909. He also was successful in winning the superintendent's trophy competed for during the same period.
