As showing the growth of the dairying industry in the Nireaha District, the amount to be paid out to-day totals, £1,032, more than the pay out on February 20th, 1905. The amount paid out on that date was £331, at the rate ot 8d per lb butter fat advance, the amount paid out this month being at the same rate. The suppliers of the factory, which is a co-operative concern, received a substantial bonus at the end of the season, some of them, it is stated, receiving, in past years, close up to £IOO.
