METEOROLOGICAL.
By Telergaph—Press Association. WELLINGTON, February 14. The Rev. D. C. Bates' summary and forecast is as follows:—Moderate norttierly winds, and fair but sultry weather has prevailed northward of New Plymouth and Napier. Elsewhere the weather has been changeable and squally at times, and showery in the far South. The barometer rose in the South during Saturday night, but has fallen steadily since. Present indications are for moderate to strong northerly an J westerly winds, and a further fall in the barometer, but a smart rise and a modrate southerly gale, with a change in the weather, may be expected.
