SEISMIC DISTURBANCE.
RECORDED AT SYDNEY,
Received January 31, 10.20 a.m. SYDNEY, January 31. The seismograph at Riverview College yesterday recorded a severe shock of earthquake. It originated probably in the Tasman Sea, about 400 miles south-east of Hobart.
