TENNIS.
The annual tournament of the Mastertou Tennis Clnb will open to-day, w\tb excellent entries. Forty one have entered for the men's handicap singles, 21 for the mens championship singles, 22 for the men's championship doubles, nnd 42 for the men's handicap doubles. The ladies' events have also drawn good entries, the championship singles drawing 9, the handicap doubles 18, and the handicap singles 14. Combined championship doubles are responsible for 16 entries, and the combined handicap doubles 34, making a grand total of 217 entries.
