NAPIER WOOL SALES.

By Telegraph—Press Association, i NAPIER. January 6. The third Napier wool sale of the season was held this afternoon and evening. A total of over 21,000 bales was offered by associated brokers, being a record offering for this centre. a bigger attendance of buyers than usual, and competition was keen from all quarters. Some medium crossbreds did not maintain late values. Strong crossbreds, including log-stained, were on an aver age slightly higher than at the previous sale. Excellent competition prevailed for lambs wool and pieces.
