BRITAIN AND THE COLONIES.
A PREMIER'S FEARS.
Received January 4, 8.30 a.m. OTTAWA, January 3. The Hon. R. P. Koblin, Premier of Manitoba, in a speech, expressed fear of a change in the relations between Britain and the colonies if Socialists were nominated to the British Parliament. Though it was a delicate subject, the colonies, Mr Koblin said, ought to try to avert so great a misfortune.
