Received January 4, 8.30 a.m. LONDON, January 3. A return issued by the Home Office shows tbat between July, 1895, |and July, 1902, under the Premiership of the late Lord Salisbury, 37 peers were created; under Mr Balfour, from 1902 to December, 1905, thtre were 24; and under the late Sir H. Campbell-Bannerman and Mr Aar quith, since December, 1905, 34.
