December 20 The New Zealand Lawn Tennis Championships were concluded today, with the exception of the last rounds of the Combined Doubles, the results being as follow: Men's Championship Singles-Semi-final: F. M. B. Wisher beat L. W. Hawkins, 6-2, 6-0, 6-4. j Final: A. F. Wilding beat Fisher, ! 6-1, 6-1, 6-1 (87 aces to 51.) I ' Ladies' Championship Singles-Semi-final: Miss L. Powdrell beat Miss Travers, 6-2, 4-6, 7-5; Miss K. Nunnelly beat Mis 3 K., Gray, 6—3,12—10. Final: Miss Powdrell beat Miss Nunnelly, 6—2,6—2. Men's Championship Doubles-Semi-final: F. Wilding, senr., and A. F. Wilclinu beat H. W. Brown andC. J. Blair, 6-3, 6-4,6—2. Final: F. M. B. Fisher and J. C. Peacock beat F. Wilding, senr.. and A. F. Wilding, 9-7, 6-4, 5—7, 6—B, 6-2. Ladies' Championship Doubles — Finai: Misses Powdrell and A. Gray beat Misses Nunnelly and Braithwaite, 6 —2, 6—3. Combined Championship Doubles —Third round: Dr, Keith and Miss A. Gray beat G. Ebbett and Miss Eileen Wellwood, 9—7. 6—3; L. Hickson and Mi3s L. Powdrell beat J. C. Peaccok and Miss Braithwaite, 6—2, 6-4. One more match has to be played to complete the third round. ,Then the semi-final and final. These coni testa will be played on Friday.
