FRENCH EXPERIMENTS

The French manoeuvres show the untrustworthiness of dirigibles in wartime, having to ascend so high beyond the range of projectiles that it was impossible to distinguish objects below accurately. Moreover, aeroplanes are superior in manoeuvring and able to carry Maxims to destroy dirigibles.
