ORGAN RECITAL.

The excellent programme announced for the organ recital to be given by Mr 1. C. Webb, Assoc. Mus Inn. Coll., London, should attract a large audience. Mr Webb is a player v ith a large English and Colonial reputation, and was an examiner for the Royal College of Music, London. He was also an adjudicator fur music at the great Welsh Eistedfoddan, and also was judge at some of the large musical competitions in Australia. Several tiroes he has had the honour of appearing before Royalty. The organist's solos will include a Grand Offertoire by Batiste, a charming prayer and cradle song by Guilmans, also Costa's march 'Triumphale." The vocal items are in capable hands. Miss Jessie McGregor will sing Lildle's "Abide with Me," and "The Refuge of the Soul" (Joi.e*) Mr R. J. Young will sing "Dream of Paradise" (Gray), and the choir will contribute two anthemn, including Maunders' "Praise the Lord." Variety will be made by the inclusion of a violin solo —Raff's Uavatina, by Miss Phyllis Cameron. Mr Purcell Webb will act as accompanist. Tickets are on sale at Messrs McLeotl and Young's at one shilling. The full programme appears in this issue.
