ALLEGED ATTEMPTED MUR- ' DER. By Telegraph—Press Association. WELLINGTON, December 1. Josenb Wil.iamp, a farmer, belonging to 'Streambank, north of Auck land, was arrested to-night on a charge of Kttempttd murder. It is said he shot his son-in-law, Francis Joseph Martin, with a gun in Ghuzneo street, Wellington, about half past seven to-night, the bu let entering the fleshy part ot Martin's neck. It is understood that there was a difference between the parties over family matters.
