At the Dannevirke meeting last week Mr Richard Roske completed his 25th year'as a clerk of the ioun-e in New Zealand. The Rev. W. J. Mr Harold Gregson has resigned the Cathedral, and leaves for the Cmtiient in March. Mr Sydney Hoben leaves in January for Canada. Miss Florence Williams (Mus. Bac). leaves for Europe in February, and Miss Mary M'Lean goes to London for twelve months. The death occurred at Bailanf- on Friday last of Mrs Tait, a very old and highly-respected resident. The deceased, who wf v " > vears of age, was very popular, ner kindly nature endearing her to all who knew her. The late Mrs Tait was the mother of Messrs J. Tait <M»st=rton). M. Tait (Featherston), and J. B. Tait (Bailance), and Mesdames Sinclair (Ballance) and Bannister (Opunaki), who will have the sympathy of a large circle of friends in their bereavement. The funeral will take place today
